Slow to RespondThe device is overloaded.  Close applications that are running in the background and/or uninstall some applications

The device is overheating, which is slowing it down.  Repair or replace the device.  
OS Fails to UpdateReboot the device

Verify that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network

Verify that you have enough free space to perform the update

Try again later

Erase the device and manually install the update

Battery Life IssuesCheck the device settings to see which applications are draining the battery

Uninstall or disable applications that are consuming battery life

Randomly RebootsA software update has caused the phone to reboot. 

You sat on the power button and caused the phone to reboot accidentally.

The battery is old and causing voltage drops.  Replace the battery.

Screen Does Not AutorotateAuto rotation is disabled.  Enable auto rotation.

The motion sensor is broken.  Replace the motion sensor.

Dim DisplayThe backlight is defective.  Replace the back light.

The screen brightness is set to low.  Increase the brightness.

The device has a light sensor (it automatically dims the screen in low-light conditions).  The sensor might be dirty or damaged.  Clean/replace the sensor.  
Intermittent WirelessThe wireless card/antenna is damaged.  Replace the wireless card/antenna.

The device is not within range of a wireless network.  Improve the wireless network and/or move to within range of a network.  
No Wireless ConnectivityThe wireless card/antenna is damaged.  Replace the wireless card.

The device is not within range of a wireless network.  Improve the wireless network and/or move to within range of a network.

The device only supports 2.4GHz networks, and the available networks are 5GHz.  Replace the device/wireless card with one that is capable of 5GHz connectivity.

The wireless settings on the device are not configured correctly.  Configure the correct SSID/password.  
No Bluetooth ConnectivityThe device is not within range of a Bluetooth device.  Move to within range of a Bluetooth device.   The device does not support Bluetooth.  Replace the device with one that supports Bluetooth.   The device is not synced with a Bluetooth device.  Sync the devices.  
No NFC ConnectivityThe device is not within range of an NFC device.  Move to within range of an NFC device.   The device does not support NFC.  Replace the device with one that supports NFC.   The NFC sensor is defective.  
Touchscreen Non-ResponsiveThe touchscreen is dirty or defective.  Repair or replace the touchscreen.  
Extremely Short Battery LifeThe battery has failed, or the device is overloaded/overused.  Replace the battery.
