Part 188: Duration Estimates
(OUTPUT Project Schedule Management: Estimate Activity Durations)

  • The Duration Estimate is how long an activity will take
  • An estimate could be
    • A specific amount of time (e.g. 1 month, 3 hours, 4 days, etc.)
    • A range (3 weeks +/- 1 day)
    • A probability (6 weeks, with a 20% chance of exceeding 6 weeks)
